He's Just Not That Into You

This movie left me thinking and searching for answers. It is somewhat true that us, girls have been lying to ourselves on the ‘boy-punch-me-because-he-has-a-crush-on-me’ theory. Or thinking that a player will actually fall for you. The truth is, the possibility of that happening is very, very low. I don’t think men will actually think as far, deep, and complicated as women do. If he is interested, he will make a move. If he doesn’t, then you make a move. If he isn’t interested, then be cool about it. Sure it might hurt a little but at least you wouldn’t be wasting your time and energy on imagining, fantasizing and analyzing all those little signs that might not even exist.
All those years and all those times that I was afraid to make a move and waiting for the other person to do it first, were all turned into regrets. After watching the movie, it made me realize that whoever makes the first move doesn’t matter at all. Next time, if I am interested in someone, I’ll let him know. If it doesn’t work out, then that’s cool, we can still be friends. At least I told him how I feel, and whatever the answer is, I won’t have regrets; I won’t keep asking myself WHAT IF.
Overall, the movie exceeded my expectations!

Should I read the book too?
